Welcome to Art Ford's Service Station, LLC. We are a full service automotive repair and maintenance facility located in Islip, NY. Family owned and operated, we have provided the community with quality old-fashioned service using modern cutting-edge tools and equipment since 1962.

The four bay shop has three hydraulic lifts and the forth an old-fashioned alignment pit. Invoices and estimates are generated using Snap-On computer software. Estimates are given upon request, however, the most accurate estimate can only be given with a visual vehicle inspection.

After serving in the US Air Force and then attending Columbia University, Arthur Ford moved from the Bronx to Long Island to start a family and business. Art decided to manage his own Texaco service station on the corner of Main Street and Ocean Ave (the current location of the North Fork Bank). A few years later Art purchased the current building at 200 Main Street to start his own automotive repair and service station. The station continued to sell fuel as a Mobil station till the 1990s when the fuel tanks regulations were changed. Since then, AFSS has continued to provide quality personalized service as well as residential snow plowing.

In August of 2005, Arts two sons, Artie and Andrew formed Art Fords Service Station LLC and took over the family business to bring it to the next level of automotive service. Since then the value of our service has increased by offering the The NAPA AutoCare Peace of Mind Warranty, sending service and inspection reminders, as well as offering online access to vehicle service history. Almost every aspect of the business that Art started in 1962 has changed dramatically over the years. Even though the business has changed ownership, Art, Artie, and Andrew are still providing quality automotive service you can trust.
